Right after the mini tests, Z was blessed to have so many fun activities to attend because a close friend of his had a multitude of birthday celebrations.
They went for swimming, lunch, LaserOps and Pizza Hut dinner after school in mid week.
They were so blessed to be in an environment where like-minded parents believed that play and outdoors were more important than academics. There was a time to play and a time to do work. I hoped these boys would benefit from a healthy schoolwork-play balance.
Sometimes, when I heard of how children were laden with tuition and academic enrichment classes, I always wondered if it was fair that they missed out on the most carefree part of their lives, in the pursuit of being the best.
