During a family chat on Z’s lack of competitive nature, we encouraged him to be more aggressive in soccer matches and try to score some goals.
Little X told Z, “You must score a goal every time.”
Z was upset because he felt it was an impossible task.
“You must score every time! I also score a goal you know,” piqued the little boy.
Z got even more upset.
X went, “Sometimes I score, some time I don’t score. It is alright.”
Z got even more fed up and said that it was not possible to score everytime.
Both Mr H and I thought X taught Z a very good lesson. All Z had to do was to try to score goals every chance he got so that he could eventually score goals some times.
Like the saying went, shoot for the moon so that you land on the stars.
